Tone Up Your Triceps with 3 Easy Exercises

Over the years, one of the most asked questions I get is how to tone up the triceps. Follow these 3 simple exercises to target your triceps and get rid of that stubborn underarm flab.

The tricep is the large muscle in the back of your upper arm. Exercising your triceps is key to achieving toned and sexy arms as well as feeling strong and healthy. As a mom, we carry a lot of things in our arms. The backside gets a little left out. In this video, I want to share with you 3 easy exercises to help to tone up your triceps and get rid of that under arm jiggle.

1. Bent Over Tricep Extensions (0:28)

All you need is a light pair of dumbbells. In the video I’m using a pair of eights. The first exercise is going to be a bent over tricep extensions. You want to start standing with your feet out, hip width distance apart. Then tip from your hips and pull your elbows in, your hands up by your hips. Now, you’re just going to press your hands back and bring them back to the middle.

Do an exhale to the back, inhale to the middle. Draw your core in. You don’t want to look too far down or look up to high. Keep a nice, long and tall spine. 20 repetitions, nice and slow.

2. Bench Dips (0:57)

The second exercise is bench dips. All you need is a chair, a bench, or something stable you can hold onto. I have a bench here. Place your hands a little close, right at the shoulder width distance. Then pull your hips back. You want to look ahead, keep your toes up, and then drop your seat down, just to 90 degrees, not too far. Then all the way up, long neck at the top. Inhale at the bottom, exhale to the top, and another 20 repetitions there.

3. Over Head Extensions (1:23)

Now, the last exercise is just an over head extension, so grab those weights again, maybe just one or two if you like. You’re going to take the weight over your head, get a split stance just so your body’s in alignment. Bend you elbows right behind the head. Inhale, slowly rise. Exhale and pull those elbows in close. Add another 20 repetitions. For each exercise, we can complete two to three sets.

With these simple exercises, you will get that firm, toned, nice confident body that you’re looking for. I hope you enjoyed this video and found it helpful. If you did, please share it with your friends and family.
